09/23/2015 FFP Wednesday Night

FFP Wednesday Night | September 23, 2015
Mexico City, Mexico

The show began with the FFP World Champion Patrick McCoy coming down to the ring with Natural Selection, Scarlett Ducane and Juno Frost. Patrick talked about how he and Logan Christopher would be main eventing FFP The Haunting at the end of October. McCoy guaranteed victory, and said that this would absolutely be Logan’s last chance at his title. Patrick promised that he would break the record and become the longest reigning FFP World Champion ever. Logan came out and told McCoy that if he was so confident, why not let Logan pick the stipulation for their match. Patrick rolled his eyes and asked Logan what kind of match he wanted their main event match to be. Logan said Ladder Match. The crowd cheered. Patrick thought about it for a minute, then told Logan that he would gladly beat Logan up with assistance of a ladder.

Lacey Abernathy & Alexis Reed vs Team FAB
Lacey and Alexis bent the rules a little, trying to gain the advantage on Fiona Burke and Giovanni Gotch. Gotch hit a tornado DDT on Alexis Reed that got her a close two count. Lacey Abernathy tagged in and worked over Giovanni who tagged in Fiona. Alexis Reed ended up hitting the Devastating Spinebuster on Fiona for the pinfall victory.

The scene cut backstage where Nikki Navarro was standing by with the very first FFP Women’s Champion, Nina Fox. Nikki asked Nina how she felt being the champion. Nina said that it was about time that she held gold again. She said that she was absolutely the best women wrestler in Full Force Pro, if not the best wrestler, male or female, in FFP.

Nikki asked Nina about the negative backlash she got for the ending of her match with Taylor Clawson at Lethal Injection. Nina said that sometimes you just have to do what you have to do, and that the bottom line was she left Lethal Injection the first Women’s Champion.

Taylor Clawson interrupted, saying that if Nina was so great, why not put the Women’s Title on the line against her this weekend at Sadistic Saturday Night. Nina snickered at Taylor’s request, saying that she would have to earn a title shot, not just get another one for nothing. Nina then walked away from Taylor.

Travis Banks & Teddy Wagner vs Prince Tau & Adam Black
A very competitive match with all four men showing off their wrestling abilities. Prince Tau hit the Spear on Teddy Wagner, but Travis broke the pin up. Banks ended up hitting Tau with the Pedigree, but Black knocked him out of the ring. The match raged on until Tau hit the F5 on Teddy for the three count.

Catch FFP The Haunting live on pay-per-view, or the FFP Network on October 25, 2015 from Tulsa, Oklahoma. In the main event Patrick McCoy will put the FFP World Title on the line against Logan Christopher in a Ladder Match!

FFP Cruiserweight Title
(c) Hades vs El Diablo
El Diablo hadn’t held the Cruiserweight Title April of 2014. He hoped that on this night he would finally win the title back, by defeating his ex-stable mate Hades. Both superstars traded hard stiff shots with each other, and impressed the crowd with high flying moves. Diablo went for Double Stomp off the Top but Hades moved out of the way. Diablo crashed to the mat. When he got back up Hades hit a running big boot. He then planted the masked superstar with the Burning Hammer for the three count.

After the match the lights in the arena went out. When they came back on Kashimanaki stood at the entrance stage. He declared that he would face Hades at FFP The Haunting, and would defeat him for the Cruiserweight Championship.

Next we saw Nikki Navarro standing by with Kylie and Katrina Connelly. The Connelly Twins spoke about how they would love to have a shot at the FFP Women’s Tag Team Titles. They said that they knew that Veronica Clyne and Lizzy Kraven were very tough woman wrestlers, but they said that they knew that they could defeat them for the gold.

Backstage we saw the WRESTLE Squad talking amongst themselves in their locker room. They agreed that they needed to have another Triple Threat Match, and said that they should do it this Saturday at Sadistic Saturday Night.

FFP Television Title
(c) Desmond York vs Toni DeLuca
This match started with a handshake. The two really went at it. Power move after power move, and hard stiff shot after hard stiff shot. Clotheslines, suplexes, body slams and more. The Mexico crowd was on the edge of their seats watching every exciting moment of the match. The first close call was after Toni DeLuca hit a superplex on Desmond. He followed up with the Pop-Up European Uppercut which sent York stumbling back and tumbling to the outside of the ring. Toni hit the ropes and delivered a baseball slide dropkick. Desmond and Toni battled around the ring before climbing back in. Desmond hit a powerbomb for a two count. He went to the middle rope and attempted a double axehandle but Toni caught the champion and hit him with an overhead belly to belly suplex.

Next DeLuca pulled York up and set him up for his other finisher, the Swissblade. He hoisted Desmond up and attempted the swinging STO, but York reversed into a swinging neckbreaker. Toni got back up but York floored him with a running leg lariat. York then hit the Blue Thunder Bomb for the three count, retaining his championship.

After the match the two men embraced and shook hands. The mutual respect was obvious. The show came to an end as Desmond celebrated in the ring with his TV Title on his shoulder.
