06/13/2016 FFP UK Tour: Day One

FFP UK Tour | Day One
June 13, 2016 | Belfast, Ireland

The first show of the FFP UK Tour opened up with Veronica Clyne coming down to the ring. She welcomed the fans and thanked them for letting us come back to not only England, but Scotland and tonight, Ireland!

Veronica was interrupted by the Shibuya Mafia, headed by Joey DeMarco. DeMarco took the microphone and promised that the Shibuya Mafia was going to dominate this UK Tour. He said that he would walk out of FFP Uprising next Sunday with the ANY Case and would be FFP’s next World Champion.

Veronica wished him luck, and told him that his ANY Case Tournament match with Gregory Hart was right now!

Men’s ANY Case Tournament | Opening Round
Gregory Hart vs Joey DeMarco
A very solid opening match. Of course the Shibuya Mafia got involved. However, this could have been the worst thing to happen for Joey DeMarco because once he got the upperhand he got cocky. After a death valley driver didn’t end the match for Joey, he went up top and missed a flying elbow. Gregory Hart fought back with hard kicks and planted DeMarco with a brainbuster. Hart then hit the Double Underhook Backbreaker and won the match. Joey DeMarco was eliminated, not long after he promised to win the whole tournament.

After the match of course the Mafia came into the ring going after Gregory. He escaped and they checked on their stable leader.

Women’s ANY Case Tournament | Opening Round
Lacey Abernathy w/ Masina vs Lizzy Kraven
Lacey Abernathy finally made her return to FFP after suffering from a broken nose courtesy of Katsumi Akiyama. A very hard hitting match, mostly coming from Lizzy Kraven. But as Lizzy seemed to have the match well in hand, Masina climbed up onto the apron and distracted the former World Champion. Lacey rolled Lizzy up, pulling the tights and got the three count. Lacey Abernathy advanced in the tournament.

Men’s ANY Case Tournament | Opening Round
Ochoa vs Logan Christopher
A match that had a little bit of heat to it just for the fact that Ochoa belonged to the Assassination Squad while Logan Christopher was a part of the Shibuya Mafia. A very fast paced match that was also back and forth. Ochoa planted Logan with a DDT for a two count. He then hit a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for another two.

Logan Christopher however got the best of Ochoa up on the top rope by hitting him with a hard kick to the head which sent him crashing to the mat below. Logan then hit the Shooting Star Press for the three count.

The scene cut backstage where Daniel Matthews was in his locker room. Weird noises started being heard all over the room. Then, the lights went out. When they came back on, Daniel looked into the mirror. It looked like blood had been splattered on it. In the blood, it was written:

“Soon you will know.

– GxxOxxxx”

On June 26th for the second year in a row, FFP will end it’s UK Tour with FFP Uprising live from London, England! At this event we will witness three separate battle royals to award Triple-A Cases. One to a male FFP wrestler, one to a female FFP wrestler, and for the first time one to an OWF wrestler!

Women’s ANY Case Tournament | Opening Round
Fiona Burke vs Taylor Clawson
This match had some history behind it as Fiona Burke was a part of Team FAB who feuded with Taylor Clawson’s team Seduction Inc. A lot of fists flew in this match although the two seemed to respect the abilities of the other. Taylor planted Fiona with the Flatliner which ended many of her matches, but somehow Fiona kicked out. Burke fought back and eventually got the best of Taylor, hitting the FAB Drop for the three count.

The scene cut backstage where Tyrece Beckman was talking to the FFP Adrenaline Champion Christopher Morgan about his upcoming match with Patrick McCoy at Uprising. Morgan said that Patrick got lucky against him and that he would not get lucky again. Morgan said that his title reign would go well past 500 days.

FFP Television Title
(c) Anarchy vs Jason Copeland w/ Bianca Hunt

The main event of the evening was not a tournament match, but instead saw Anarchy defending his Television Title against his main rivals partner, Jason Copeland.

Bianca Hunt was not the only one to get involved with this match as Mikhail Vakhrov came down later on in the match. As Anarchy hit Copeland with about any suplex you could think of, Mikhail climbed up onto the apron. But Anarchy grabbed him and flung him into the ring. He began to hit Mikhail with punch after punch. That is until Jason Copeland floored the champion with a hard chop block. Anarchy went down. Then, the double team began. The referee called for the bell, awarding the match to Anarchy via disqualification due to outside interference.

Hunt Enterprises pummeled the Television Champion. Eventually Mikhail took hold of the FFP TV Title and floored Anarchy with it. As the two stood over Anarchy looking down at his unconscious body, Joseph Curtis stormed to the ring. But the damage had already been done. Bianca and her two clients quickly retreated as JoCu checked on Anarchy. This is how night one of FFP’s UK Tour came to a close.
