Around the Ring with Emily: Aggravated Assault Predictions

Yes, yes, yes, I am back. And the crowd goes wild! Everyone’s favorite journalist is back with a new picture and new content. Holla!

Today, I’m going to give you my predictions on Full Force Pro’s upcoming pay-per-view Aggravated Assault. Taking place tomorrow night live from Tokyo, Japan. And let me just add this. FFP has always wondered which event of theirs is the “big event”. Their “biggest show of the year”. Well, with this event coming to you live from the Tokyo Dome, with 14 awesome matches, I’d say they found their big event.

Also, a little history of this event. This event has a lot of historic happenings when it comes to Full Force Pro. In 2009, Matt Kraven turned on then girlfriend Veronica Clyne to help Brandi Moore win the Diamond Title. In 2012, Chris Kraven beat his brother Matt to win full control of FFP (the fed soon after died – just sayin’). In 2015 Christopher Morgan defeated Eddie Siebenthaler to win ten Adrenaline Title – a reign that broke every title reign record in FFP, lasting 470 days. And last year, Veronica Clyne and Joey DeMarco won the women’s and men’s Tokyo Cups, with DeMarco also winning the FFP World Title. So, this event has always seemed to have a lot of significance.

Now, let’s get into it!

OWF Title
(c) Deshaun Reed w/ Michael Graham vs Malakai
Let’s start out with some OWF Title action. I think Michael Graham gets involved, and Deshaun retains. In a close one. Malakai has a bright future.

Jaqueline Aulstrike vs Zoey Kiehl
More OWF. Jaqueline Aulstrike is just too big. And Zoey Kiehl isn’t as good as she thinks. Jaqueline wins. Squash match.

FFP Cruiserweight Title
(c) EJ “Money” Carter w/ Bianca Hunt vs Shikamaru
Recently EJ Carter had really shown his good he is in the ring. And Bianca is still hell bent on taking over the world. EJ pulls out a close one. Maybe with Hunt Enterprise assistance.

Blaine Edwards vs Hayden Flowers
This intrigues me. And may be what I’m looking forward to most. These guys were friends. Not so much anymore. I’m rooting for Hayden. But Blaine seems to beat him every time. Unless their girlfriends get involved, I’m going with Blaine Edwards.

Mikhail Vakhrov w/ Bianca Hunt vs Mystery Opponent
Everyone knows Austin Briggs is coming back for vengeance. But Mikhail is going to target Austin’s still tender ACL and knock him out of action even longer.

Ariana Chaos vs Masina
Another case of a small girl trying to beat a big girl. Masina squashes Ariana and they have to use a spatula to get her off the mat.

Non-Title Match
Miles Lynch vs Logan Christopher
WWS Champion Miles Lynch vs Logan Christopher. Both guys are hot. Anyway, Logan had the experience advantage by far, but Miles Lynch is on a roll. I have to give the victory to the hot hand. Miles Lynch wins.

FFP Tag Team Titles
(c) Assault & Battery vs American Bulldogs
I think Michael Graham is already in the American Bulldogs’ side and they just aren’t admitting it. He interferes and leaves Tokyo with his clients as the new Tag Team Champions.

FFP Television Title
(c) Hiroki Ito vs Alexander Modest
There’s more to the story here. Alexander has had what, two or three matches here? Mary Faith Brooks is handing him this opportunity. And I feel like after some shadiness, Modest will walk out the new TV Champion.

Men’s Tokyo Cup Tournament Final | HONOR World Title
(c) Kashimanaki vs Matt Kraven
Kraven got Kashimanaki to agree that this thing is for the HONOR World Title as well as the Tokyo Cup. This is a flip of the coin to be honest. I feel like Kraven is the better wrestler, but Kashimanaki is from Tokyo. He has the home field advantage. Kashimanaki wins, in a five star match.

Women’s Tokyo Cup Tournament Final
Brandi Moore vs Fiona Burke
Brandi Moore made it to the finals of the Tokyo Cup Tournament last year, losing to Veronica Clyne. This year, she beats Fiona Burke and wins the Tokyo Cup. And I’ll go out on a limb and say, Brandi will beat Fiona in less than ten minutes.

HONOR Women’s Title
(c) Dani Rawlings vs Lizzy Kraven
Dani always gets mad at my articles. Eyeroll emoji. Dani, Dani, Dani. You might as well skip this prediction, unless you wanna use it as fuel to your fire. You’re gonna lose sweetheart. Because for you being a pro wrestler is dating the World Champion and using his stroke to get what you want. To Lizzy Kraven, being a wrestler is training your ass off, sweating, putting in work, winning titles around the globe and clotheslining girls’ heads off. Lizzy wins. Next!

FFP Women’s Title
(c) Nina Fox vs Giovanni Gotch
This could be match of the night. Gotch had gotten the upperhand on Nina several times. Nina finally knocked Giovanni out cold on Monday. I think we will see a new Women’s Champion. And Giovanni Gotch will hold the title for a very long time. You heard it here first.

FFP World Title | 2-Out-of-3 Falls Match
(c) Daniel Matthews vs Odell Porter
Main event time. Daniel Matthews has been able to escape matches with Odell Porter somehow still holding his World Title. Since the FFP New Year’s Eve Show, Odell had come so close, only to have Matthews use resource after resource to retain. Will tomorrow night be the night that Odell finally realizes his dream, and becomes the FFP World Champion? The answer, is no. Daniel had proven he isn’t above having help. Whether it be his girlfriend Dani (although Lizzy Kraven may dismantle her just before this match), whether it be an illegal low blow or whether it be something or someone else (I’m looking at you Matt Kraven, Patrick McCoy or Daniel’s new protege Kyle Donovan). Daniel will find another way to win, leaving Odell once again upset in the middle of the ring from being screwed over.

I think this event could very well be the best in 2017. So many matches that have the potential to be a Match of the Year candidate. Tokyo Cups, Championships and pride will all be on the line. I usually hang out backstage for the shows, but this one I’m actually going to go out and watch it as a fan.

Thanks for reading. Enjoy Aggravated Assault.
