04/15/2017 FFP SSN

April 15, 2017
Atlanta, Georgia

The show began with the FFP World Champion coming down the isle with his group of Dani Rawlings, Kyle Donovan and Tabitha Mullins by his side. Daniel took a microphone and talked about how his cage match with Odell Porter would be a war, and it would wrap their feud up once and for all. Matthews told Odell that he would like to look him in the eyes, shake his hand and wish him luck. The crowd seemed confused. Was it a trap? Or was Daniel turning a new leaf?

Odell came down the isle, looking very cautious. He had a microphone of his own and told Daniel that it definitely would be a war. Odell also said that when the smoke cleared and the match was over, that Odell will have pulled out all the stops, and became the new FFP World Champion. Daniel looked frustrated with this, and hit Odell with a cheap shot. He pummeled Odell own on his own, with Dani, Kyle and Tabitha watching, sure to pounce if Odell got on the offensive. Matthews hoisted Odell up and planted him with his Death Valley Driver.

Matthews stood over Odell with the World Championship in hand. He reached down and grabbed Odell’s hand, bending over and looking at his unconscious face. Matthews said “good luck” and dropped Odell’s hand.

Daniel and his group then left the ring as Odell started to regain consciousness.

Brass Knuckles Title Qualifier | Three Way Dance
Ochoa vs Hades vs Joey DeMarco

Veronica Clyne promised us FFP Brass Knuckles Title qualifying matches. And that’s what we got. These matches were elimination, and they were obviously anything goes. Joey DeMarco was the first eliminated after being spiked to the floor with a cradle piledriver by Ochoa. Hades then pummeled Ochoa with a steel chair and hit the Burning Hammer for the three count.

Interesting to note, Hades came out alone, although graphics have been popping up that looks as if he resurrected the group known as SUCCUMB.

Brass Knuckles Title Qualifier | Three Way Dance
Prince Tau vs Mikhail Vakhrov vs Lewis Weaver

Another anything goes Brass Knuckles Title qualifier. These three men were brutes and were afraid to slug it out. Lewis Weaver was eliminated first after a Prince Tau Spear. Weapons didn’t come into play until Mikhail used the ring steps and a television monitor off of the commentator’s table. Vakhrov had control of the match when Austin Briggs came out of the crowd and hit Vakhrov with a chairshot to the head that would’ve made any baseball player jealous. Briggs left as Prince Tau hoisted Mikhail and hit the F5 for the pinfall.

Next week Hades would face Prince Tau in another anything goes qualifier!

Brass Knuckles Title Qualifier | Three Way Dance
Jackson Pearce vs Nevin Solomon vs Lizzy Kraven

The action continued with another Brass Knuckles Title qualifier. The only female in the title picture, Lizzy Kraven recorded the first fall in this match, hitting Nevin Solomon with a Kraven Lariat and a Tornado Bomb. But she fell victim to a a kick to the gut and a beck breaker from Jackson Pearce. The match continued as Pearce brought a table into play and set it up in the center of the ring. He put Lizzy up on the top turnbuckle and attempted a superplex through the table, but Lizzy fought her way free, sunset flipped Jackson, landing on her feet, hooking him and impressively hitting a Tornado Bomb through the table.

Lizzy was a little too out of it to go for the cover, so she rolled away and waited for Pearce to get back to his feet. When he did, she blasted him with a Kraven Lariat for the 1, 2, 3.

The scene cut backstage where the newest member of the FFP roster Malakai was standing by with Tyrece Beckman. Malakai talked about his debut last week and his Cruiserweight Title shot at All Torn Up. He said that he was extremely appreciative of this opportunity and he couldn’t wait to get into the ring with EJ “Money” Carter.

FFP Television Title
(c) Hiroki Ito vs Gregory Hart

These two had had matches before, and each one was a little better than the one before. Early on Hiroki hit Gregory with a stiff kick to the skull that seemed to really rock the challenger. Ito then hit a fisherman brainbuster for a two count. Gregory Hart fought back, hitting two German suplexes, bridging the second one for a pin. But Hiroki kicked out at two.

Gregory continued his assault, hitting a backbreaker, a swinging neckbreaker and a knee to the face from the top rope. Hart hooked Ito into an ankle lock and looked to have the champion in a no-win situation, but Ito used his free leg to kick a Gregory repeatedly and break the submission. Hiroki got up, limiting as Hart went at him again. It the Television Champion scooped Gregory into his shoulders and hit the Go to Sleep for the three count.

After the match Caleb Newstead came out with a microphone. Newstead congratulated Hiroki on his win tonight. He said that at All Torn Up, that Ito’s luck runs out, because Caleb will win the FFP Television Title once again.

The scene cut backstage to the trainer area where Odell Porter was being tended to. He was irate, screaming and asking where Daniel Matthews was. But Veronica Clyne quickly arrived to stop him. Veronica told Odell that next week at SSN that he could find a partner, and face off against Daniel Matthews and Kyle Donovan. Odell seemed okay with the idea, looking forward to getting his hands on Daniel before All Torn Up.

Brass Knuckles Title Qualifier | Three Way Dance
Hayden Flowers vs Kevin Lewan vs Aiden Conrad

The final Brass Knuckles Title qualifier of the night, the winner would go on to face Lizzy Kraven next week. Kevin Lewan was known for his technical wrestling, but he also hit Aiden Conrad with a spinebuster across a ladder for the three count. Hayden and Kevin then went toe-to-toe, hitting each other with very stiff shots. Lewan rocked Hayden with a spinning forearm and went for a running clothesline, but Hayden ducked and hit a lung blower. Flowers pulled Lewan up and hit a snap suplex. Then he went up top and went for his Frog Splash, but Kevin got his knees up. Lewan pulled Hayden up and planted him with a Brainbuster. That looked to be all she wrote, but Hayden kicked out at two.

Kevin pulled Hayden back up and this time went for a Powerbomb, but Flowers used his momentum to continue going over Kevin, and rolling him up for a three count. After the match Hayden and Kevin shook hands.

Next week, Lizzy Kraven would battle Hayden Flowers in an anything goes qualifier.

FFP Women’s Television Title
(c) Fiona Burke vs Aubrey Moresi

Aubrey was finally getting her Champion’s rematch, however it wasn’t against the woman she lost the Women’s TV Title against, Kenzie Anderson. It was against Fiona Burke, who defeated Kenzie for the title last week.

The two women came into the match cautiously, trying to feel the other one out and take advantage of an opening. Burke got the upperhand first with a headlock, but Moresi reversed and got Fiona in a front face lock. Burke spun out and grabbed a hammerlock. They continued. A game of human chess for sure.

Aubrey got the first big move, hoisting Fiona up and hitting a big back suplex, folding her in half. Moresi stayed on Fiona, hitting a shining wizard. She hooked the leg, but Fiona fought out of the pin at the count of one. Fiona got back to her feet, and was Irish whipped into the ropes. Aubrey leap frogged Fiona the first time, then sent her crashing to the mat with a beautiful dropkick.

Fiona fought back. And the two women traded European uppercuts back to back. Fiona got the upperhand with two, then a third. She sent Aubrey into the ropes and hit a beck elbow, then a bulldog. Aubrey got back up but was hit with a big clothesline. Fiona went to the middle turnbuckle. But Aubrey put the breaks on, hitting Fiona with a shot to the midsection. Then she joined Fiona on the middle rope and hit a belly to belly to the mat below. Aubrey went to the apron, waiting for Fiona to get back to her feet. Moresi put her arms out to her sides, taunting Fiona. She jumped over the top rope, hooking Fiona for a DDT, but the Women’s Television Champion caught her, and flipped Aubrey in a Northern Lights Suplex, bridging it for the pin. The referee made the count. 1…2…3!

After the match Fiona was awarded the title. She held it in the air and turned to Aubrey. Fiona extended her hand out to Aubrey. Moresi was obviously disappointed, but accepted the handshake and left the ring, giving Fiona the spotlight.
