The show opened up with the former FFP Spirit Champion Zoey Kiehl making her way to the ring. Zoey got on the microphone and called out Carla Ray, the current Spirit Champion and the woman who defeated her.

A lot of drama had been surrounding the Spirit Championship since Carla defeated Zoey, then nearly lost the title to Keira Brimm. Zoey said that she hadn’t had her champion’s rematch, and was here to cash in on that tonight, if Carla actually had the guts.

Carla came out next, standing on the entrance ramp with the Spirit Title strapped around her waist. She said that she had no problem beating Zoey up once again, but that her knee had gotten jammed up in a training session and the President of FFP Mary Faith Brooks didn’t want to risk injury.

Zoey said that Carla was just afraid of losing her title to Zoey, saying that the only way she defeated her was cheating. Carla again said she’d be happy to defend, but wasn’t allowed. This brought out Keira Brimm. Brimm stood face to face with Carla, saying she was also promised a rematch. Keira said that at FFP Uprising it should be Carla vs Zoey vs Keira for the Spirit Title. The crowd loved the idea. But Mary Faith Brooks came out. She said that Keira didn’t have the stroke to make matches, but Mary did. She said that she wanted to crown a new number one contender, and so tonight Zoey Kiehl would Race Keira Brimm with the winner facing Carla for the Spirit Title at Uprising.

Beth Tilly & Sophia Ishmael vs Tokyo Bomb Angels
A technical wrestling match froM both teams. The Tokyo Bomb Angels looked very impressive, but after Sophia Ishmael caught Akane Mae with a solid back elbow and a snake eyes, Beth Tilly then hit the Fameasser for the three count.

Backstage
The scene cut backstage to Tyrece Beckman who caught up with the FFP Adrenaline Champion Aiden Conrad, as well as his stablemates Pandora and Matt & Billy Rich. Tyrece asked Aiden about his upcoming cage match with Trent Wolfe. Aiden said Trent Wolfe didn’t scare him, and neither did a steel cage. He guaranteed victory at Uprising, and said #EgoTrip would be having a huge celebration party after Uprising.

Anarchy vs Austin Briggs
These two have really torn each other apart the past few weeks, and this was no different. Fists were throw, and landed hard. Anarchy’s nose was busted open first, but he fought back and hit a split-legged scoop slam followed by a senton from the middle rope for a two count. Briggs fought back, attempting a piledriver, but Anarchy fought out and hooked Briggs into what looked like the Rear Naked Choke. However, Briggs kicked his foot backwards, hitting Anarchy with an illegal low blow. The big man went down, and fell victim to a Superkick while he was standing on his knees. The referee disqualified Briggs for the low blow, but Austin didn’t care. He went to the outside, grabbed a steel chair and leveled Anarchy in the skull with the chair.

Backstage
The scene cut backstage where Raquel St Claire was standing by with Anna Minster. Minster had tweeted that she was ready to get back into the ring and face some competition. Raquel asked Anna if she had any opponent in mind. Of course everyone remembers her series of matches with Noel Zelig. Would Anna want another crack at her? Anna said that she missed the ring, and couldn’t wait to get back in front of the crowd and show everyone what she was made of. Then, she was interrupted by the new FFP Women’s World Champion, Masina. Masina stood over Anna, smirking and looking down at her. Raquel tried to ask a question, but Masina put her hand up. She then said that if Anna wanted some competition, she could have some…her. Masina then said that she just talked with Mary Faith Brooks, and she would be wrestling Anna later tonight. Masina almost walked away, but turned back toward Anna and said that she would gladly put the Women’s Title on the line. Anna honestly looked frightened.

Backstage
The scene cut backstage to Mary Faith Brooks, who had a special announcement about Uprising. She said that Alexander Modest and Kade Haddix have had some great matches for the FFP Honor Championship, and she wanted to see them go at it once more at Uprising.

Giovanni Gotch vs Roxi Haacke w/ Christi Carter
The last time these two met up, it was hard hitting, with Gotch gaining the victory. This was just as hard hitting, but after Gotch got the upperhand this time, and went for the Gotch Powerbomb, Christi Carter got into the ring apron. Gotch went after Carter, dropping Roxi down behind her. When Giovanni turned back around, she was nearly turned inside out with a vicious lariat. Roxi then hit a Running Powerslam for the pinfall.

Backstage
The scene cut to Raquel St Claire who was standing by with the FFP Ironwoman Champion Noel Zelig. Zelig would be defending her title against Katsumi Akiyama at Uprising. Noel said that she knew Katsumi would be a very tough opponent, but she was up to the challenge. Noel said she had released a list of 15 women she’d like to defend the title against, and Katsumi was high on the list. She said it will be an honor to wrestle her.

George Furst vs Bryce Devlin
On paper this was a match that looked like it would be over before it started. And George Furst really neat Bryce Devlin down. However, Furst went for an avalanche in the corner, but Devlin side stepped and rolled Furst up, shocking the New York crowd and gaining the three count.

After the match Furst got up in an angry rage. Devlin quickly hightailed it out of the ringside area, but Furst gave chase.

Backstage
The scene immediately cut backstage where George Furst was furious. He turned the corner and nearly bumped into masked superstar Raziel. Raziel held his hands up, not wanting any trouble. But Furst leveled him with a right hand. George then raised the wrestler up and lawn darted him into the wall. Raziel’s body fell limp to the floor, and EMTs quickly arrived.

Backstage
The scene cut to Joey DeMarco, who was making a big deal about not having a match. Joey demanded that next week he be in a high profile match. Then, Roderick Jamison stepped into view. The big man looked Joey up and down, and said if he wanted a match next week, he had one.

In the Ring
The scene now cut to ringside where Mary Faith Brooks announced the first person that will be inducted into the FFP Hall of Fame Class of 2018, former FFP World Champion Patrick McCoy!

McCoy came out onto the entrance stage and took a bow. But before he could do much of anything else, Christopher Morgan exploded out of the backstage area and floored McCoy with a clothesline from behind. After putting the boots to Patrick, Morgan pulled him up and hit a gruesome Tiger Driver on the steel stage. Morgan then grabbed a microphone and said that if Daniel didn’t want to accept his challenge for FFP Glory, that Morgan would continue destroying the people around Daniel.

Backstage
The scene cut backstage where apparently Zoey Kiehl had been taken down. Carla Ray was standing nearby, but the damage had been done. EMTs checked on Zoey while Carla stood back acting as if she had no idea what had happened. Keira Brimm then entered the picture. But before she could say anything, she was blindsided by Ava St James and Lenore Spade. After Brimm hit the arena floor, Carla began assisting Ava and Lenore in pummeling Keira. Finally security arrived and got the attackers away.

The scene cut to the announcer’s desk where Brian Young said that it didn’t seem like they’d be having a number one contender match after all. Morgan Alexander applauded Carla Ray, saying she was joining up with two more beautiful blondes, and they were the best thing going in FFP right now. Of course Brian Young rolled his eyes.

FFP Women’s Title
(c) Masina vs Anna Minster

Anna looked terrified. But she came out of her corner looking to pull a huge upset. Unfortunately, Masina completely destroyed Anna, having her way with her with a smile on her face for the most part. In the end, Masina scooped Anna up onto her shoulders, took her to the middle rope, and hit a Samoan drop. Masina then hit a big splash for the three count.

Now the scene cut to a hype package about the FFP tag team division. Apparently a tag team event was in the works, and more would be revealed soon.

FFP Network Title
(c) Kashimanaki vs Kabir Jindal

The size difference in this match was very noticeable. Kabir had quite the height and weight advantage over Kashimanaki. As well as a longer reach. But Kashimanaki settled in and used his kicks to attempt to cut the giant strong man from India down. Jindal however must have done his homework, and was pretty good at getting around the Champion’s lethal kicks. Jindal was eventually able to floor Kashimanaki with a giant clothesline, then plant him with a DDT. Jindal then went for the India Penal Code, but Kashimanaki was able to reverse it into a small package. The referee made the count. 1…2… and Kabir was able to kick out.

But when both men hurried back to their feet, Kashimanaki rocked Jindal with a devastating kick to the skull, then a snap German suplex. Kabir was hurt. And Kashimanaki went in for the kill. He planted Kabir with the Kashimanaki Driver and got the 1, 2, 3. Kashimanaki had retained his FFP Network Championship.

Next Week on FFP TnW:
• Griffin Austin in action
• Will Zoey Kiehl and Keira Brimm wrestle to become #1 contender for the Spirit Title?
