The show opened with the owner of FFP Stuart Cavanaugh. Cavanaugh put over his idea of the 5-Man Gauntlet Match to determine a new number one contender for the World Title, and said that there was one more twist to it. All participants would be men who have never held the FFP World Championship.
Cavanaugh announced that the five men wrestling in the gauntlet match would be Aiden Conrad, Caleb Newstead, Hiroki Ito, Roderick Jamison and Trent Wolfe. He wished all the wrestlers good luck.
Odell Porter vs Griffin Austin
A very impressive showing from both men. Two fine athletes to say the least. Odell Porter however got the win after a series of vicious clotheslines followed by the Regal Plex.
After the match Odell got on the microphone and said that he was sick and tired of standing in the back while other guys who weren’t as good as him held the most prestigious title in professional wrestling. So Porter said that he wanted a shot at the World Champion, whoever it may be, whenever they are man enough to step up.
Cooper Albright vs Elijah King
This match was booked due to Cooper attacking Elijah’s partner JJ Perry last week. Elijah tossed Cooper around. Definitely had a size advantage. But while the referee was groggy from accidentally catching an elbow to the head, Albright hit Elijah with a kick to the groin and planted him with a DDT for the victory.
The scene cut backstage to the entrance of the backstage area. Giovanni Gotch was trying to enter the arena, but security was stopping her. Mr Cavanaugh eventually came and threatened to release Gotch if she did not leave the arena. Giovanni left, but was not happy about it.
Jacqueline Aulstrike & Tabitha Mullins vs Courtney Kennedy & Minnie Nova
This feud really heated up on this night. Courtney and Minnie took the fight to Jaqueline and Tabitha, even setting a couple of tables up on the outside of the ring and double powerbombing both through the tables. Jaqueline and Tabitha won the match due to disqualification due to the use of the tables, but Courtney and Minnie saw this as a victory anyway.
Backstage | Interview Area
Tyrece Beckman was joined by Austin Briggs and Anarchy. He said that obviously the most common question was why. But Briggs and Anarchy didn’t answer. All they said was that they were anti-FFP, they were anti-Hall of Fame and they were anti-pretty much everything else. Briggs said that in the meantime, they could simply be known as Anti. Briggs promised however that they weren’t done with what they started at FFP Glory.
FFP Spirit Title
(c) Keira Brimm vs Roxi Haacke
A very competitive match. Roxi Haacke showed off her shear strength, even hitting a gorilla press slam much like the Ultimate Warrior. Keira however fought back and eventually hit the Vertigo Death Valley Driver to get the three count and retain her Spirit Championship.
After the match Outta Your League stormed the ring and attacked Keira. Brimm tried fighting back but the numbers game was too much. After the beat down Lenore Spade got on the microphone and challenged Keira to a title match next week.
FFP Women’s Tag Team Titles
(c) CULT vs Lipstick & Powerbombs
Another brawl between two women tag teams. Lizzy Kraven and Olivia Lee came out on fire, cutting the ring in half and really dishing out a lot of punishment. But CULT fought back, with Amanda Cortez hitting Lizzy with a hellacious spear. Eventually the former champions regained the momentum, leading to Kennedy Matthews grabbing one of the Women’s Tag Titles and hitting Olivia Lee with it, getting CULT intentionally disqualified.
After the match the two teams wound up brawling up the entrance ramp.
5-Man Gauntlet Match to Name a New #1 Contender for the World Title
Participants: Aiden Conrad, Caleb Newstead, Hiroki Ito, Roderick Jamison & Trent Wolfe
The first two wrestlers in the gauntlet match were Roderick Jamison and Caleb Newstead. Although Roderick had the size advantage, it was viewed as an upset when the rookie got the pinfall.
Next was Aiden Conrad, who ended up having the same fate as Newstead, a 1, 2, 3. Then, enter Hiroki Ito. Hiroki gave the big man quite a challenge. But Jamison used his strength and weight advantage to toss Ito around. Hiroki however muscled Jamison up and hit a Go to Sleep for the three count.
The final wrestler in the gauntlet was Trent Wolfe. The two wrestlers went back and forth, back and forth. After Trent hit an awesome lariat and a spinning yakuza kick, he set Ito up for the Bloody Sunday. But Hiroki was able to reverse into a roll up and surprisingly got the three count. The crowd couldn’t believe it. Wolfe slapped the mat out of frustration and stormed off.
