The show opened up with Stuart Cavanaugh and Mary Faith Brooks inside the squared circle. The couple announced the return of Matt Kraven and Daniel Matthews, as well as Matt Kraven now being cleared to wrestle again! They said they were very happy to welcome the two Hall of Famers back, and invited them to the ring.

Austin Briggs and Anarchy on the Same Page?

Anarchy and Austin Briggs have been in a heated feud lately. But things change…

The last few months we have seen Austin Briggs and Anarchy attempt to absolutely tear the other apart. Sneak attacks, low blows, chairshot, etc. But on Sunday night at FFP’s biggest event of the year, Briggs and Anarchy flipped the script on us.

After a tremendous match between Daniel Matthews and Christopher Morgan, a match made to determine the true “icon” of FFP, Matthews and Morgan shook hands. The members of both superstars’ stables from the early days of FFP came out and seemed to make peace. It was a great moment, not only on the show, but in the history of FFP. Seeing the Soul Assassins and Simply the Best shake hands and embrace, and put their feud to rest after ten years, could’ve brought a tear to some people’s eye.

The show started out with fireworks around the arena. The New York crowd stood on their feet and cheered as the camera panned around the arena. FFP branded Santa hats seemed to be the hot seller at the merchandise booths as many fans were seen wearing them.

As the crowd settled, the FFP Adrenaline Champion Odell Porter walked down to the ring with his ANY Case in hand. Porter took a microphone and announced that no matter what, whether he win against ATM tonight or not, whether Daniel Matthews leaves Throwback as the World Champion, or Anarchy…that at the FFP New Year’s Eve Show Odell would cash in his ANY Case to challenge the FFP World Champion.

The show opened up with pyro going off around the arena. The camera panned around the arena showing a couple former FFP superstars such as Ariana Chaos, Synn and Christopher Morgan, who was wrestling for another promotion but was here to support his Simply the Best stablemate Caleb Newstead, HONOR Wrestling superstars such as Katashi Goya and HONOR Women’s Champion Cassie Carlisle, and also competitors that took part in the 16-to-1 Tournament such as Hope Jamison, Courtney Kennedy and Tabitha Mullins were in the audience.

The show began with the ring filled with balloons and a table with a birthday cake placed on it. It read, “Happy Birthday Matt Kraven”. Kraven came down to the ring with a smile on his face. He took the microphone and asked who planned this out for him. He said that he was thankful but that whoever did this, didn’t have to.
